Xo-Heart by Team Lafayette

This project is not about hours - it about generosity straight from the heart to bring a moment of joy to our military people overseas who are serving our county. We would like to encourage other Xo-Service teams to participate and show our military that the Healthy Chocolate team is in support of them in their mission. Please send "We Care Packages" to these special people, the simplest things count the most when you are in front lines facing the reality of war. You can do this as a family or make it group project at your office, church, neighborhood, etc. One of our team members has a relative in Florida that specializes in dog training and she has a good friend name Sgt. Lance Cote in the Army and he is a Bomb Dog Handler. His K9 partner is Vogan - their unit is station on the front lines in Afghanistan and are living out of a village fighting the Taliban – these men, women and K9 have a special request of items and we would like people from Xocai to simply show heart and just send "We Care Packages." Below are some items that are in need:

* Baby Wipes since when they go on missions there are no showers! * Powdered Gatorade * Candy and Beanie Babies/Small Toys to give to kids they meet and * Tough toys and Treats for K9s too! * Really anything would be appreciated! AND importantly please include a letter to let them know we state-side care and are proud of them. Your simple act of kindness of a care package will mean the world to them. (also include your Xocai business card to let them know you are from team Healthy Chocolate)

Put items in a flat rate box and send to the address below - the Army will get it to Lance and he will share these "We Care Packages" with others – Flat Rate boxes are available at the post office for FREE.

PS — it was suggested by the USPS to ensure your package gets to the soldier in the event that the address on the box is unreadable or the box has been opened or is damaged. LIST LANCE’s NAME and ADDRESS on THE INSIDE OF THE PACKAGE.
