Xo-Heart by Team Lafayette, IN

Project Heart & Honor – honor the 10th Anniversary of 911 by giving kindness from your heart to our soldiers that are stationed on the front lines. Here is something we would like to encourage every Xocai Team to do - it is easy. This can be done as a family or make it group project at your office, church, neighborhood, etc. My cousin, in Florida specializes in dog training and has a friend name Lance Cote who is a Sgt. in the Army and is a Bomb Dog Handler. His K9 partner is Vogan - their unit is station on the front lines in Afghanistan and are living out of a village fighting the Taliban – these men, women and K9 have a special request of items.

They really need: * Baby Wipes since when they go on missions there are no showers! * Powdered Gatorade * Candy and Beanie Babies/Small Toys to give to kids they meet and * Tough toys and Treats for K9s too! * Really anything would be appreciated! AND if you can include a letter to let them know we, state-side care and are proud of them. Your simple act of kindness of a care package will mean the world to them.

Just send a flat rate box full of stuff to the address below and the Army will get it to them – Flat Rate boxes are available at the post office for FREE.

Here is the address and you will have to fill out a customs form
Sgt Lance Cote
NSW PLT 1711,
FOB WARRIOR, APO
AE 09311

Sgt. Lance will share these packages with others and spread the wealth of kindness from all the state-side people.

PS — it was suggested by the US Postal Service to ensure your package gets to the soldier in the event that the address on the box is unreadable or the box has been opened or is damaged. LIST LANCE’s NAME and ADDRESS on THE INSIDE OF THE PACKAGE.

Thanks for taking time showing kindness to the military people & dogs serving our country. If you want please forward on this email to others too! Thank you for your time!
